Hi Everyone,
There won’t be a newsletter this week. I’m on vacation! While some people might picture the dream vacation as sitting on the beach or walking trails in the woods, I’m geeking out by attending conferences! Yes, that is a dream vacation to me.
I’ve been in Washington, DC, all week. Tomorrow, I head to Charleston, SC.
The weather has been excellent. I’m attending FDLI in DC and am impressed with the event. I’ve enjoyed meeting people and listening to the presentations. It gives me hope to see a variety of stakeholders get together in one space and have respectful conversations. Millions of lives are at stake, and the more we work together, the more lives we can save.
I hope to see more of the same next week at NTSC. This is my first time to attend both of these events.
Thank you to everyone who has made me feel welcome and comfortable. This has been a grand adventure so far.
